Buttercream Skills?

We all have different skill levels and some will do better in one area than the other. I prefer working with fondant because I love the outcome of my work. Icing is not my strong point even after three years of practice.

This was one of the earliest cakes I made. I don’t like the picture but I keep it here to remind me just how far I’ve come as a decorator.

If your struggling with mastering a skill, don’t give up just keep trying. This is a more recent example of a buttercream cake I made. Still not perfect, but getting there.
